Assistant Manager - Contracts & Projects

Generate yearly and long term budget for all maintenance activities, unit cost studies, year-to-date budget vs actual expenses report, accruals. Input accrual data and update Finance for unpaid expenses incurred by Engineering Division. Develop justifications and explanation for variances. Verify invoices for services provided against actual activities. Ensure that invoices are approved for payment in a timely manner and according to company guidelines.  Ensure that the cost for the work done is reasonable and not overcharged, with documented services rendered. Negotiate technical contracts with OEMs / service providers to meet the requirements of the Division and to ensure value in the services purchased. Monthly and annual review of contracts and processes to ensure audit worthiness.
Capabilities and competencies
Engineering Budgets and Costing, Managing OEM/Service provider contracts
Experience        Min 6-8 yrs
Qualification   Engineering Grad / Post Grad
